Pt. Baroba is a progressive furniture company, specializing in affordable high quality furniture. Our range includes teak, mahogany, aluminium, batyline and synthetic rattan. The products are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
We base our company and manufacturing principals, on making sure, that the health and safety of all employees is of primary concern; a happy workforce produces a good, end product. All our timber is certificated and obtained through sustainable, government approved sources. Associated products have to meet our exacting quality control standards.
Baroba operates an unique pre kiln treatment. This ensures that all timber is completely free of sap and impurities, prior to entering the kilns. The procedure produces an extremely stable timber that does not inherit the usual problems associated with wood production. The final result is furniture that does not crack, split or warp.
As well as our existing production lines, Baroba specialize in tailor made bespoke items. We welcome new designs and are happy to develop new ranges to suit the individual customer’s requirements. We have a top team of designers and draftsmen, who are able to develop and follow new innovations.
The backbone to a successful company is the man behind the scenes. The president director, Mr. Basri, was born and raised in Jepara, then he spent many years in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, obtaining a formal education and invaluable work experience; the latter manifests its self with his approach to production, and since 1996 Mr. Basri has been upgrading the factories to Western standards.
The Baroba factories extend to 8000 m2 and are located in Jepara, the furniture capital of Central Java, Indonesia; which gives the company access to a highly skilled workforce. There is a fully equipped workshop with 78 woodworking machines and 12 welding units. With our baking ovens and spray booths, we are able to implement a full powder coating system for the aluminium.
